This is a massive effort to breach Russian defenses along the over 1,000 km long front line. Ukraine aims to retake their territory and drive a wedge between Russia’s Land bridge in the south. But was this an overly ambitious and unrealistic goal? Well If you’re rooting for Russia, your view of the offensive so far is likely that Ukrainian forces' assault has slammed into an impenetrable Russian wall.
