Join Igor and Diana on the start of our European holiday adventure! 🚗✨ We began in our home in Leeds with a prayer before leaving for the road trip. Driving on the busy M1 motorway, we stopped at services for a quick coffee and sandwich from M&S before continuing to Folkestone for the Eurotunnel LeShuttle. At the terminal, we explored the duty free shop, checked prices for spirits and perfumes, and experienced some travel delays before passport control on both the UK and French sides. Once loaded on the train and after crossing the English Channel, we refueled at a Total petrol station and drove towards our first overnight stop in France. We stayed at Sure Hotel by Best Western Saint-Quentin Ouest – Le Pot d’Étain, where we did a room tour and enjoyed a relaxing evening. Since the restaurant had closed, we ordered a cured meat platter with a bottle of Rosé in the hotel bar, followed by some food in our room.
