Hello Again! The Mesa de Los Santos (in Chibcha Xerira, Jerira or Jeridas) is a plateau located in the Eastern Cordillera of Colombia in the Santander Massif. It is in the jurisdiction of the municipality of Los Santos. This geographical feature is located to the west of the Santander massif and to the northwest of this extension where the Sierra de Arcabuco is located, to the north of this region of the Arcabuco plateau is the Mesa de los Santos, with a height of 1602 meters. The name of Mesa de los Santos apparently has its origin in the Quebraba los Santos, which during the 19th century was accepted as a name for the parish and was later assigned to the municipality when it was erected as such. The Mesa de los Santos is also known for its high seismicity.
