Composition started for this project started in July 2022 and was finished after about a year of off and on work. After a few failed attempts at writing piano pieces with longer, more thought-out form and techniques, I decided I should try writing something shorter, and that's when I wrote the final piece of the suite, "Soaring Among the Clouds" which was originally titled "In the Sky". After writing that piece, I decided I would write more short pieces based on weather phenomena, and now it's finally complete!
