Dance House Children's 1992 sophomore record, Jesus. From the liner notes: "This album is about happy, hopeful, pretty, and old things, and Jesus, who is the maker and giver of it all. It's also about traditional things like home, and families where Daddy works and Mommy stays home. We believe in traditional morals and values and the basic fundamental teachings of the Bible, the 'Old and True' things that hold families and people together. "Musically speaking, it is our utmost desire to only do what is totally current today, not only with this album, but with every album. We will have no part of the 'Christian music is 5 years behind the times' stereotype. It doesn't have to be, and we're showing you that. We are influenced by bands like The Shamen, 808-State, My Bloody Valentine, The KL7, Primal Scream, and a lot of other techno-house bands. We're very influenced by the 'Rave scene' and 'The scene that celebrates itself' in England and beyond. As for next time, who knows? Whatever the rage in the clubs is, we'll be doing it.
