This video showcases some of the updated changes to the game since the last preview. Because there's quite a bit that has been changed, I'll list them in order of which they appear in the video: EV Training: The pyramid in Surabaya City has had its encounters changed since EV yields have also changed. However, if you prefer an alternative to this, the Trainer Meetup nearby has six trainers who will grant 18 specific EVs per battle. Blue and Anjiru have the team of Alphichan that was seen in the first preview video (ZPatchouli no longer exists, so Alphichan now fulfills this purpose). PSS: The Physical / Special Split was added long ago but was never clearly demonstrated, so I decided to do that now. You may also notice a few of the moves shown are entirely new, such as Mana Punch and Rock Gale. These and other new moves are designed to take advantage of the split and make certain Boneka more viable than what they would be otherwise. Gym Rematches: Gym Leader rematch teams have also been updated. And no, they will never have Last Words or X-Boneka. Map (De)Edits: Some maps that were edited have been reverted back to how they were in vanilla Emerald, Route 127 being the biggest one of these. And in case you're wondering, the Mystery Gift scientist is still somewhere on that route. Maxie Space Center Battle: The fight against Maxie and Tabitha at the Mossdeep Space Center has been updated, and so has Steven's team. Additionally, Archie / Maxie's theme has been changed to Nuclear Fusion. Java Gem Trainers: Like the gym leaders, the teams of the trainers that hold the gemstones in Java have been updated. No Last Words or X-Boneka either. Java League Trainers: Speaking of Java, the Grand League has also been changed. All Last Words have been removed from every trainer's team, and the only single X-Boneka left is on Haris's second team. Trainer Ambush: The trainer that ambushes you on Route 102 now has a ZFairy. Anyone can take it out first-turn without an issue, even CEllen who, while weak to Astonish, can still take a hit. CYoumu remains as the reward for winning the battle. LKanako: LKanako now has Rayquaza's intro and battle background, as well as a new moveset.
