Our Longevity spinach is showing out! 🙌🏾🌱✨ • Longevity spinach is a plant we are growing that has been thriving over the seasons. We first started with just a few cuttings and over the past 2 years they have matured and expanded to an abundant space. The wonderful part is, they are growing under a canopy of pine trees! • Longevity spinach is a delicious edible vine that is easy to grow. This low maintenance perennial spinach is capable of growing in shade, semi-shade, and full sun if the roots don’t die. For the best results, we grow them in semi-shade. • Harvesting is simple. You can either pinch the leaves of the stalk or you can cut the stalk from the plant. After removing the leaves from the stalk, you can plant the stalk in soil to produce a new plant! • The greens can be eaten raw or cooked. The leaves can be added to a smoothie, salad or tea. We enjoy sautéing the greens with collards and onions.
