The forest is especially beautiful near the river crossing, full of dense greenery and calming vibes. The trail is easy and family-friendly — perfect for anyone wanting to enjoy a calm slice of NZ nature. I had to switch batteries along the way, so there are a few subtle cuts, but I tried to keep the walk as uninterrupted and relaxing as possible.
