It was difficult to leave our dispersed campsite in Bridger National Forest, but we had to keep pressing on! After a cold but relaxing morning, we headed out. Our first stop was a car wash to remove some of the mud we had accumulated. Then on the way out of Pinedale, we spotted a moose! The drive from Pinedale to Jackson, Wy is beautiful - I'm not sure videos can really do it justice, but we tried to capture it. Jackson Hole is a little bit crowded for our liking but I think it would be fun for a weekend trip. Teton National Park though was breathtaking! We did run into our first animal related traffic jam there though - it wouldn't be our last. We ended the day at Headwaters Campground at Flagg Ranch just outside the South entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Our first "Overlanding" trip happened almost by accident. We had a weekend event to attend in Seattle, over 2000 miles away from our home in Indiana, and instead of flying, we decided to seize the opportunity and make it a road trip. It took some months of planning, preparing and careful budgeting to make it happen, but before we knew it, the day was here - we loaded up our truck "Heknbak" with our camping gear and rooftop tent, and we were off!
