This mountain is situated within a spectacular and beautiful group of mountains in the north of the Lake District National Park and lies just a few miles south of the town of Keswick. The walk starts from the small parking area close to Stoneycroft Farm on the unclassified road that runs from the village of Braithwaite to Buttermere; more information about the route is given in the video and a gpx route file of it is available here: As a retired fella who now has to put up with failing health, as we all must do as time takes its toll on us, my hope is that my hikes will inspire others to take an interest in getting out and about in the British countryside, for there is so much in which to take pleasure in doing so, from the sights we see along the way and the invigorating exercise we gain, to the benefit to our health and mental well-being that hiking brings. Subscribe to my channel, / @ukhiking , for more hiking and drone videos of my wanderings on THE FELLS OF GREAT BRITAIN and do feel free to leave comments here, good or bad, and suggestions for improvement in my future videos. A gpx route file of the walk covered in this video is available from me at the following email address: [email protected] or you can access it here: https://explore.osmaps.com/route/2498...
