 Number seven Alexandria controlled most of the game when it seemed the game was all over with Alexandria holding onto a eight point lead with less than five seconds to go and Eastbrook out of timeouts 80 yards away from scoring it seemed all but inevitable. Until the Panthers decide to run a hook and ladder in which they hold, clip, and possibly even get off a forward, lateral all the way down the field until they score. However, not so fast a penalty on the Panthers was thrown for one of the illegal blocks in the bank with zeros on the clock and that being an offensive penalty everyone in the stadium thinks it’s over including the announcers after about 30 to 45 seconds the refs are seen spotting the ball at Alexandria‘s 40 yard line so about 30 to 40 yards better field position than they started with. Thus Eastbrook is rewarded with committing several penalties on the final play with an extra final play. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen anything like it. It should be overturned. It’s not in the spirit of the game.
