Come To My Garden Art Exhibition

This video is to highlight the installation process, the exhibition, Come To My Garden, and interviews with visitors and the curator herself (me). Come To My Garden is an exhibition curated by L’nique Noel to bring together artists with different artistic backgrounds and interests to give insight into how they interpret flowers symbolically, literally, and figuratively in their own way. Artworks by L’nique Noel, Amaris R. Cruz-Guerrero, Jennifer Hudock, Mabelis Javier, Olivia Johnson, Heather Kostrna, Wendy X. Ordóñez H., Ari Temkin, and Emily Silverio-Williams, are included. These works are tied together by their floral element which creates a garden in the traditional sense of what we know a garden to be. Noel views this exhibition as an extension of herself. Through painting floral patterns based on symbolism, she was able to find her niche. Along with an affinity for rebellion against traditional gallery spaces and love for the musical stylings of Minnie Riperton, Come To My Garden was created.
