Sealed float including a permanent magnet. Non magnetic material stem. Magnetic reed switch mounted within the stem. What is the principle of operation ? The float rises or lowers with the liquid level. And the magnetic reed switch is fixed in a chosen point in the stem. When the float will be near enough to the reed switch , The magnetic field of the permanent magnet will trigger the switch. And a detection signal will be sent. in some applications we can use one stem including two reed switches for high and low levels detection.
