It was a great car to step up too after somebody was tired of the SS and wanted to go to the next level. It was similar in a way that it used the same motor setup as the supercharged Cadillac CTS-V but in a two door sporty car form with a great suspension setup. It was a Camaro meant to be fast in a straight line and handle at the same time. The newer edition of the ZL1 does not disappoint in the slightest, and on a mountain road is actually incredibly surprising. It's extremely fast yet stops incredibly well, and gives the driver way too much confidence. So is it worth the extra money to upgrade from the SS? Let's go for a drive and find out!
