This was my first time staining a fence with a pump sprayer and I made a couple key mistakes early that I go over in the video. -For starters, make sure there is significant and consistent pressure from the sprayer. Stop and pump it as you start to feel the pressure subside. -Make sure the nozzle is in the correct position, ideally parallel to the ground -Hold the wand 1-2 feet from the fence. -Avoid making too many passes over the same place. This was a waste of stain and time as the stain didn't have enough time to soak into the wood before running down the fence.
