The Tamolitch Blue Pool of Oregon's McKenzie River is known for its distinct, clear, blue color and its year round temperature of 38 degrees Fahrenheit. The section of river that flows into the pool is actually covered by an ancient lava flow and so the water comes seemingly out of nowhere. This breathtaking spot is also known for a 55' jump, which is what we were specifically looking for on this stop of our road trip through Oregon.
