GRUMMY is a gothic fairy tale about a young girl's flight from an abusive childhood into the amber fields -- and long fangs -- of her imagination. Starring Violet McGraw (The Haunting of Hill House, Black Widow). Based on events from co-writer/director Micheline Pitt's childhood, "Grummy" is an expression of her own childhood sexual abusive survival story and a love note to all the kids who only had their imaginations to protect them. From the experience of one survivor among 43 million victims living in the United States alone, "Grummy" is a reminder that imagination is the start of hope. This film was also created to celebrate classical practical effects and world building in fantasy filmmaking. Renowned producer and effects artist, Kevin Yagher (Child's Play, Tales from the Crypt, Sleepy Hollow), brought Grummy to life with full animatronics and a life-sized creature suit. Starring Violet McGraw (The Haunting of Hill House, Black Widow), Tom Degnan (Limitless), and Alexander Ward (Westworld). Written and Directed by Micheline Pitt and R.H.
