To get started, we will need to download the NeoForge mod loader. There is a link in the description above to download NeoForge 1.21.4 download page. That will take you to NeoForge’s official website. There, click to download the “21.4” version of NeoForge. This is the version that is for Minecraft 1.21.4. From there, the NeoForge Installer for 1.21.4 will download. Open the NeoForge Installer with Java. You can find a link to get Java 21 in the description above. Java 21 is required in order to install Minecraft mods for 1.21.4. After you have the NeoForge Installer open, click the “Proceed” button. NeoForge 1.21.4 will now install for Minecraft mods. The only reason NeoForge may not install is if Minecraft or the Minecraft Launcher are open or you haven’t played Minecraft 1.21.4.
