Something I always noticed as a kid was that, in Back to the Future Part II, the music cue "Burn the Book" was basically the same score as the first part of "Clocktower" in the first film. Similarly, the bit where Marty runs to Doc at the end of Part II is the same score as when the Delorean pulls out of Marty's driveway and flies off at the end of Part I.
