Barbara Heinisch is a doctoral candidate at the Centre for Translation Studies of the University of Vienna. In her research, she is concerned with the constantly changing field of translation: which is not restricted to the communication between two languages but also plays a role in accessibility in general, and the usability of technology, in particular. Barbara Heinisch won the Impact Award 2022. The Impact Award 2022 funded by the City of Vienna Cultural Affairs was given to eight active PhD students of the University of Vienna.
