The music industry can be isolating, especially for those on the road who are separated from their support system. This September, in recognition of #suicidepreventionmonth , MusiCares has partnered with The Jed Foundation to lead a conversation on suicide awareness in the music industry. By shining a light on this topic through an open dialogue, we move closer to a culture of understanding, support, and help for those who need it most. We’re grateful to our friends at @CountryMusic, whose Mental Health initiative has generously supported this impactful series of dialogues for MusiCares to expand mental health resources for the music community. 🤍 📲 Learn more through these resources for suicide awareness & mental health support: ❤️ @MusiCaresFoundation: Here to help everyone in the music community through holistic wellness programs and resources – providing weekly support groups, referrals and financial assistance for mental health treatment, and more. Learn more and reach out for support at musicares.org, or contact us via email at help@musicares.org. 🩵 @jedfoundation: The Jed Foundation is a leading nonprofit that protects emotional health and prevents suicide for our nation’s teens and young adults.
