Well prepared, physically strong, no problems with the knee and not much left of the flu. Very easy route, maybe too easy... long and easy leg to no 1, so was reading forward the next controls. Missed the opening to no 2 (30s miss), but knew my speed was good enough so tried to cool down. Maybe slower route choice to no 4, but knew the difference was not big. On the way to no 8, I already decided to take the stairs to no 10 (which was slower than the right choice), and was so focused on this that I forgot the 9th control. On the way to 15 I was running on "red" and made a 25s miss. What a disaster! M55-1, 2,8km, disqualified #hero8black #orienteering #suunnistus #sprintorienteering #wmoc2024
