On this episode Jack Johnson, the founder and CTO of Volta Power Systems discusses the Volta Power System during the summer heat. We covered what the orange and red blinking lights mean. What temperature the Volta gets when it completely shuts off and what temp it needs to return to normal operation, and what to do if your system is starting to get hot. We also talk about the proper storage w/ the Volta when turned off and being stored in high heat and what to do when if you’re plugged into shore power and the Volta starts getting too warm. And the last section of this episode Jack answers some of the STO Nation community’s questions such as if it’s possible to install a fan to help cool the Volta, if you can hook the Volta up to the chassis battery, and can you use the Volta to power an upgraded stereo system. Jack also talks about what to expect from Volta and the industry as a whole in the future and is nice enough to answer my question about why the Volta SOC gauge light is so bright.
