It's nearly Oscar time again, and when countless millions (or some say well over a BILLION) are watching, it's not just the movies the audiences are interested in, but what everyone is wearing, how their hair is styled, what shoes they are shimmying down the red carpet in -- and that is serious Styling power. It's fair to say that a good (or bad) stylist can make (or break) the career of someone in the public eye. And as far as influences go, Paris is very much on the style and fashion agenda, with A-Listers from LA to New York to London to Berlin to Paris and who knows where else, are perusing fashion magazines from France for inspiration and ideas. So who are the stylists that influence heel heights and hemlines globally, helping to make unknown models into supermodels and actresses and actors into revered style icons? Enter the petite and very pretty Sophie Clauzel, a successful Paris-based fashion stylist known for her trademark edgy chic, who graduated from fashion school in Paris, went on to work as a fashion assistant for Elle Magazine before launching her freelance career as a stylist, a career which has seen her working regularly with magazines such as Elle (France and international editions), Wad and Diva etc... And Sophie has also worked her visual magic on the likes of the Oscar-nominated Bérénice Bejo (The Artist), actress Alysson Paradis (recently featured in Creative Mapping), Gad Elmaleh (one of France's most acclaimed actors), Paul Belmondo...
