Oliver Ghnassia, Age: 19, Country: Belgium Oliver is singing "Lekol Ehad" by Shlomi Shabat http://www.Hallelujah.org.il Oliver Ghnassia is a 19 year old singer whose entire family is active in the art, political and Jewish communities in Belgium starting with his grandfather who invented the first security system to defend Jewish communities in Belgium (Misgueret). Oliver's grandmother has been the mayor of one of the district's of Brussels while his great aunt started the only Jewish radio in Belgium and is now the head of the Zionist Organization of Belgium (OSB/SOB/ZOB). Oliver's mother is a designer and drawing teacher while his father is a songwriter and comic strip draftsman. Aside from an artistically inclined family Oliver himself has participated in competitions like "Kohav Nolad" (the Israeli version of American Idol) and Paris' X-Factor where Oliver made it to the final 60 from an initial contestant pool of 14,000. Oliver, after having experience a string of discrimination in Brussels for wearing a "Chai" or "Magen David", is considering making Aliyah and believes Hallelujah and music is one way to help him discover and relate to his origins.
