Removing plants I no longer like, and replacing them with new plants I will enjoy more. Its difficult to pull out plants that you have nurtured for so long. But at some point we have to make the decision to keep disliking them or to pull them out and plant something we will enjoy more? Life's to short to look at plants we don't like. I replaced my Hosta with Ascot Rainbow Euphorbia. I replaced the Euonymus with some Midnight Sun Weigela. I also replaced white swan cone flowers that reverted back to the native purpurea variety with some Pretty Parasols Coneflower which had been on my wish list for a couple of seasons.
