Day 2 in Georgia turned into a wine crash course we didn’t know we needed 🍷 We left Tbilisi for a wine tour in the Kakheti region with World Sight Tours. 📍 https://maps.app.goo.gl/UM2DjDGEj1qNm... Would definitely recommend that you book your tour with them! Before this tour, we honestly knew nothing about wine. We had a lot of myths in mind and zero idea how wine actually works. This day completely changed that. Our first stop was Manavi, where we tried Churchkhela, a traditional Georgian sweet made from grape juice and nuts. Next, we stopped at a local place to see how traditional Georgian bread is baked in a clay tandoor. We learned the story behind it, watched the process and tasted fresh bread with local cheeses 🥖🧀 After that, we made a short stop in Sighnaghi. We visited St. Nino Monastery and walked along the famous Sighnaghi Wall, which gives serious mini Great Wall vibes with beautiful valley views. Then came the main highlight 🍷 Lunch and wine tasting at Vineria Kakheti. This is where most of our wine myths were busted. We learned: everything from how to hold a wine glass properly to opening a wine bottle the right way. We even tried Chacha (strong is an understatement 😅) and tasted around 12–13 different Georgian wines. From beginners to slightly confident wine tasters, all in one afternoon. By evening, we headed back to Tbilisi, grabbed dinner and wrapped up a slow, memorable day. 📍 All important locations are on Google Maps 📌 Save this video if Georgia is on your travel list ❤️ Subscribe for more real, slow travel vlogs
