Kunal & Prithvijit two hungry bongs visited Bangladeshi fame Food Village restaurant. This cozy Restaurant placed in Al Nahda serving mainly Bengali community across the Dubai/Sharjah border since few decades. Started with Bharta platter which comes with six different types of Bharta, each tastes equally good and never miss items. @18dhs VFM Tried Hilsa fish fry with some oil from the same pan with plain Basmati rice. Average in taste. Then comes Murg Pulao (4/5) a typical Bangladeshi style pulao with fried onion strips on the top and a boiled Egg with a big sized juicy leg pieces worth the money. Then comes the show stopper of the day which is a Mastered Hilsa or Sorshe Ilish.... soft and big sized thick egg with plain rice is just heavenly for foodies like us. @25 dhs it's VFM. We tried Rohu Kaliya as well, which was little sweet in taste , fish was equally tasty and giant sized. Two pieces @20 Dhs worth spending for two. Finally our story ended with Misty Doi which was average compared to other places we had it in Dubai.
