(BTTG 405) We are created in the image of God When God created this world, everything except human being that God said it and then it happened. Only human that God created by His own hand and He put breath of life into our body. Only human have God's spirit, have God's characteristic in our life, we are the master piece of God's work. We are the great finale of God's creation on earth. We are specially created in the image of God, our attributes are coming from God. He is infinite spirit being and we are finite physical being, so human and God still have difference, no way we can compare our ability with God's power. Bible revealed to us , we are created from dirt on the ground, if we go through chemical analyzer, we will found out our physical body are made from various chemical compounds which all can be found in earth ground. We come from dust and the dust we return, between these two points, God's breath is in our body, we have special purpose on earth. Son has the image of father, but it is not entirely carbon copy of father; father pass down some of his attributes to his son. God's attributes that human don't have: divine mystery; everlasting; invisible; unchangeable; sovereign over heaven and earth; triumph over evil force; source of blessing, Truth and power. God's attributes that human have some of: omnipresent; omnipotent; omniscient; one and only; compassion; goodness; creativity; love; justice; wisdom and knowledge. True God is omnipresent God; but human we can produce airplane, ship and car to make us travel to every corner of the world. True God is omnipotent God; but human can produce engine, machinery and tools to make us build every structure of the world. True God is omniscient God; but human can produce computer, Internet and library to make us know all the knowledge of this world. True God is one and only; but human can be unique made, no one is the same, but we don't have the power as God, we are the clay in His hand. True God have compassion; but human can care about a small animal and less fortunate people. True God have goodness; but human can have conscience to know what is good or bad for human life. True God have creativity; but human can seeking novelty and curiosity, we only can create something from something. True God have love; but human love others with strings attached, God loves us while we are still a sinner. True God have justice; but human can look for fair and equal treatment, human all seek human rights. True God have wisdom and knowledge; but human can create all kinds of knowledge and wisdom to improve human life. God can create something from nothing; human only can use existing elements and ingredients to process and produce things that we can used in our daily life. Human have huge potential to discover, invent, manipulate all kind of engineering wonders, medical brake through and explore the outer space, but human have intelligence boundary and physical limits, we may can be the dominate species of earth, but still not the master of earth. Human can behave like God, but we still are not God; God is always a God, man is always a man. God have lots of attributes, but the summary of His attributes is Love. God have unconditional love toward human, He not only created us, but also provide, protect and guidance, most of all is He provides us the salvation. We bear the image of God, the things we should do are reflecting God's attributes on earth. We all have the image of God, and all have different gifts, it is up to us how to use our gifts and reveal the God’s image through us. God is the source of goodness, for we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. The love for all living creatures is the noblest attribute of mankind. For Christian view, our sinful nature is our enemy, and Satan is the other enemy of Christianity, even Satan's followers, atheist, gentile and different religious people are not enemy, but friends of Christianity. Because everybody born with the image of God, but sometime fall into evil influence temporary. As long as we confess and repent, admit we are sinners, and away from Satan temptation, and love God, and love people, then everybody can become children of God, we all can become good Christian.
