Looking for NSW's darkest sky? Check out Warrumbungle National Park. Not too far away is the telescope at Tamworthalso famous for its Country Music Festival and enjoy prospecting wander the "Hills of Gold", at nearby Nundle. Did I mention, I found some gold? It was an incredible experience that combined outstanding natural beauty under the backdrop of a black carpet adorned with thousands of glistening stars.
