NEW build video for the x350PRO    • Walkera QR x350pro build video   UPS just dropped off a box with a Walkera QR-X350 join me as I crack the box open and pull the parts out. I got mine from http://walkerahelicoptersupply.com/co... The thing have a big battery compartment, and I like the battery door is on the tail end instead of the front. Got 95mm space under the belly. and finger screws for the legs so its easy to pack for travel or maybe backpacking. The QR-X350 feature manual gyro stabilized flight, GPS supported / position lock flight and RTH function. It will RTH for failsafe and the RTH can also be started manually with the flip of a switch. UNLIKE the Phantom, it do not have intelligent orientation modes. and the RTH do not include a climb to avoid obstacles. However, RTF with radio, charger, battery the thing sell for about $450 usd. So some of the missing features might not seem so bad when we look at the money. How do it fly.. actually quite nice, but a bit mushier than the Phantom with less aggressive control moves to keep it constantly stabilized, this might actually might be a good thing for people wanting a video rig, but its a down side for people wanting to fly aggressive flips sporty stuff. Personal opinion, I love the F7 radio with build in video, but I REALLY do not like the DV04 which tend to buffer or slow down video at the worst times.. so my recommendation is probably getting a FatShark starter kit for flight camera and goggles, but get the F7 so you can use the screen on the radio to frame video shots while flying LOS (line of sight) BTW. the F7 is compatible with FatShark and ImmersionRC radios. I know somebody will ask.... YES it can comfortably lift a brushless gimbal.. Finally for those looking for one..
