First (and maybe last) time in Cortina - February 12, 2025

Hi everyone, I've given a quick recap of the day I spent in Cortina with my dad, but it's nothing special. The day wasn't the best, both because I was hoping for more snow and because of some equipment issues. My boots were worn out, glued together the night before, my glasses were destroyed, my board was missing a ski edge, etc. Then, not knowing the area, we went exploring more. The top section was really nice, and must be beautiful with 2 meters of snow! In any case, in the end, while continuing to push with my toes on my boots, I hurt myself, and when I stopped, holding on to my fingertips, my thumb bent backwards. I immediately raised my hand and my thumb went back in, I took off my glove and put my hand in the snow. As of today, January 15, 2026, my thumb hasn't come out again, although I'm still paying more attention to it. At the end of the day the boots finally came off the soles completely, right as I was walking back to the car!
