If you clicked on this video expecting some sexy, cleavage-flashing redhead to walk you through your daily “computer exercises”, I sincerely apologize for the disappointment you’re experiencing at this moment. I’m not hilarious, Ryan-Gosling-Gorgeous, or famous in any way. And if internet folklore is true, I don’t even have a soul. So why am I creating this channel and website? I think virtual reality is going to permanently alter the way we digest entertainment. I think it’ll make children of the next generation look back at the TV the way a lot of us see the radio. They’ll see pictures in school and ask, “You used to huddle around that thing?!”. But I think this transition is going to present a lot of challenges as well: Which virtual reality headset should I buy? What kind of computer do I need? Should I custom build or buy a pre-built, VR-ready PC? The average person is going to have A LOT of questions before diving into VR. I’ve never adopted another technology as early as I’m adopting virtual reality. But as I record this video, having preordered my gaming PC, Oculus Rift, and HTC Vive, I’m hoping to make the obstacles for the average person to adopt virtual reality as non-existent as possible. The mission of Virtual Reality Ginger isn’t sophisticated: I want to make virtual reality simple and easy to understand for everyone. And hopefully I won’t bore the hell out of you in the process.
