Full disclosure, I'm a collector. I love multiples, but am selective as to the aesthetics of the objects I zero in on. This particular obsession is a BOSS DS-1 BK Guitar Center exclusive distortion pedal. I've been combing through reverb.com for years snagging as many reasonably priced listings that I could. My best friend suggested I do an experiment and stack them together with certain criteria. EAch pedal is at the same volume and distortion level, but the tone knob is dialed in at incremental amounts. The pedal board build was inspired by my friend ‪@happylittleboards‬ I went to grab a clean piece of pine, but instead lasered in on this piece of cedar given to me by a student years ago. I know where my favorite is, and rest assured it's not at the 7-8 pedal location. Try not to cringe at the 3 minute mark. It's tough. Original song "Distrust" by Paydirt Audio
