The Celebration of Lloyd Goldstein's music and message was released via Zoom party on March 21st 2026. Bassists and musicians from around the world came together to shine the light upon Lloyd's message of the healing power of music. Lloyd's story is very clear- Music is a gift to all of mankind and musicians should share this gift. It can heal the soul, body and mind and bring comfort in hard times. Lloyd moved from playing with the Orchestra to playing his bass for cancer patients at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. Doing this was an amazing calling from within him. We all can be inspired by what Lloyd has accomplished. Last year Lloyd had a stroke and was diagnosed with brain Cancer. With this Celebration, we are sharing our gifts with Lloyd. We hope the videos inspire you and lead you to understand music in the way Lloyd does. Lloyd's wonderful videos and the ones celebrating him will be kept up on YouTube for the future to watch. Every time you play one of Lloyd's pieces or play for others that need healing, you are celebrating Lloyd Goldstein and all those like him. "Can you believe it! That’s Lloyd! Lloyd Goldstein the bassist accompanying me. "I left the imperfections in on purpose. I didn’t want it to be polished or flawless, I wanted it to be honest. I wanted it to feel the way every lesson I had with Lloyd felt: real, unfiltered, and meaningful in a way that sticks with you long after it’s over. You believed in me when I wasn’t sure how to believe in myself. You saw something in me that I couldn’t see yet, and you kept showing up with patience and encouragement until I started to see it too. You helped me come out of my shell, even when every instinct in me wanted to stay hidden and safe. You pushed me just enough, in all the right ways. And somehow, you made me feel like I was capable of more without ever making me feel like I wasn’t enough. Because of you, I did things I never thought I would do. I mean, I literally got on an airplane because of you which still feels unreal to me! That wasn’t just about the flight; it was about trust, growth, and stepping into something bigger than my fear. That’s what you gave me. I know I’ve said it before, but I truly appreciate you, more than I probably know how to fully put into words. The impact you’ve had on me goes far beyond those lessons. It’s in the way I carry myself now, the way I face things that used to scare me, and the way I try to believe in my own potential. Since your diagnosis, every time I see you, you tell me you’re proud of me. And I don’t think you realize how much that means. No one has ever said that to me before. Hearing that from someone like you stays with me. It matters more than you know. I hope you know that I’m proud of you too, for your strength, your kindness, and the way you continue to show up for me and others even in the middle of something so difficult. (Coming to my concerts and recitals) You’ve made a lasting mark on my life, and I will carry that with me always. I love you Lloyd."
