In this video I show how to remove a radiator still full of water without draining down or turning off the boiler! Step 1 : turn off both radiator valves either side of the radiator. Step 2: open the bleed vent into a container or towel until it stops coming out completely! Step 3: turn off bleed vent Step 4: loosen bottom nut of thermostat end to be able to spin away from rad tail. Step 5: plug the tail using a product called plumb thumbs! Repeat on lock shield side. Step 6: remove radiator and flip upside down Step 7: cap off valves with brass 3/4 and 1/2 brass caps with tap washers inserted. Step 8: tell the Mrs your a hero and grab a beer
