Join me on an unforgettable cross-border journey from Kampala 🇺🇬 to Nairobi 🇰🇪 onboard Simba Coach’s newest Scania F360, a masterpiece built by Banbross Fabricators and launched on 24th December last year. We departed Kampala at exactly 4:00 PM, but due to heavy city traffic, our driver and crew took an alternative muddy route — and yes, we almost got stuck! Despite the challenge, the journey was packed with incredible moments, from crossing the scenic Jinja Bridge, where the legendary River Nile flows beneath, to the thrilling race at the Busia Border. At the border, a Bebeto Bus arrived just seconds ahead of us — but thanks to quick thinking by our crew, Simba Coach passengers rushed to clearance first, overtaking both Bebeto and Super Metro, another competitor that had arrived minutes earlier. After roughly an hour of customs checks (and yes, a reminder that Yellow Fever certificates are mandatory when re-entering Kenya!), we were back on the road.
