Welcome to today’s Pokémon GO travel vlog from the spiritual heart of India – Ujjain and Omkareshwar. The adventure started the moment I opened Pokémon GO in Ujjain, and something unexpected happened. Instantly I went from Level 40 to Level 41, making it the perfect start to the journey. Right after that I hatched a 12 km egg, and it turned into Sandile, giving me a brand new Pokédex entry. That was easily one of the highlights of the day. From there we visited Mangal Nath Mandir, one of the most important temples in Ujjain. While exploring the temple area I captured several Pokémon and spun new PokéStops. As I mentioned in Pokémon Pokopia, spinning new PokéStops gives extra XP, which makes traveling to new cities even more exciting for Pokémon GO players. After exploring Ujjain, we continued our journey to Omkareshwar, another sacred Jyotirlinga destination of Lord Shiva. The environment there was amazing and Pokémon GO gameplay felt even more exciting while exploring such a historic and spiritual place. Near the Mahakaleshwar Temple area, I managed to defeat and capture a Pokémon during a battle. I did face a small front camera lighting issue, but the gameplay moments were too good not to record. Later in the evening after dinner, the spawns around Omkareshwar became absolutely crazy. Pokémon were appearing everywhere, making it the perfect way to end the adventure. This vlog combines Pokémon GO gameplay, travel exploration, and visits to some of the most important temples in India.
