This is the first song by the progressive death project "The Proverbial Mind Spread". We actually recorded it about two months ago, but I was just too lazy to make a video of me playing it. The project consists of Dylan Myers (cdmskater) and myself. For this recording, guitars were recorded by myself, lyrics were written by me, drums programmed by Dylan, and vocals by Dylan. The song is about a man who has had a lot of adversity in his life and doesn't know what to do with his future. He is visited in the the middle of the night by a group of seemingly evil aliens who offer to take him to their planet, where his troubles will no longer matter. He takes them up on their offer, and in the future he regrets making that decision.
