The Virginia Governor Ralph Northam has recently called a State of Emergency for Virginia, days ahead of the gun rights rally taking place at Richmonds Capitol hill. Banning anyone from carrying fire arms during the rally on Capitol hill. This comes after several militia groups have threatened violence online on websites, forums, and the dark web. Currently the administration is saying they're trying to avoid the type of violence that occured during during the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville when a White Nationalist ran over a crowd of protesters murdering one women and leaving dozens more injured. Many believe that this rally may attract domestic terroist groups such white nationalists, and neo nazis from around the country, and that the rally may turn violent. There has already been three arrests of suspected Neo Nazis who were traveling to Virginia who are believe to have been working with the white supremacist group known as the base and had been carrying about 1,600 round of ammunition as well as body armor. There are also many conspiracys claiming that this is going to the begining of false flag operation set up by the elite, only inciting more potential for violence. This event has heated up due to the new gun laws that were proposed in Virginia after last recent election, that suggested several gun laws such as a ban on assault weapons and labeling any guns with higher than 10 clip magazine as a assault weapon, as well as red flag laws, and universal background checks for gun sales. The assault rifle ban would have required all citizens with assault rifles to turn in their weapons to the state government or else be considered a criminal. However the bill to ban assault rifles has for the time being been striken down and taken out of commitee. This was after several Sheriffs public stated that they would not enforce these laws and after 91 out 95 Virginia counties have now become what's known as second amendment sanctuaries, saying they do not have to uphold laws that they believe are unconstitutional and violate citizens second amendment rights.
