K&F CONCEPT Filters in Spain | Watch How They Transform These Architectural Shots

In this episode I explore how long exposure photography can transform busy streets into quiet architectural studies in Nerja. With bright Mediterranean light and constant foot traffic, photographing buildings without people can be a challenge — but long exposures provide a creative solution. Using neutral density and circular polarizing filters from K&F CONCEPT https://www.kfconcept.com/, I extend my shutter speed to nearly a full minute. The 10-stop ND dramatically reduces incoming light, while the CPL helps control reflections and deepen contrast in sunlit walls, windows, and textured surfaces. The result is a clean architectural frame where moving pedestrians simply vanish from the scene. This technique isn’t new. In fact, I was inspired by one of photography’s earliest moments: the famous 1839 Paris street photograph by Louis Daguerre. Early daguerreotype plates required extremely long exposures, sometimes lasting many minutes. Because of this, nearly all the moving people and carriages disappeared — except for one man standing still long enough while getting his shoes shined.
