See the New Year in with Frockabilly...from beneath the waves! There'll be New Year bubbles of an altogether different kind as Frockabilly (the world's premier queer-run, straight-friendly vintage club night) returns to The Marlborough to celebrate the turn of the year in style with an 'Under the Sea' special! Curvaceous crustaceans will mix with jiving jellyfish, creatures from the deep will bop with saucy sirens, and shipwrecked pirates will stroll alongside deep sea divers, whilst mermaids, mer-men and mer-bois will look on and wonder if perhaps there's something fishy going on... Radio Reverb's DJ Lonesome M (Frockabilly/Honey Hush/Diablo/Brighton Rumble) plus special guest DJs will spin vintage vinyl from the '50s and early '60s. Rockabilly shenanigans, steamy rhythm and blues, crazy swing and low down dirty rock 'n' roll will see you safely through the murky depths to our undersea hideaway where you can wear what you like, dance how you like and kiss who you like. There'll be the usual Frockabilly sweet treats and surprises, plus a free shot of Tuaca at midnight. And there's no door charge so, what's stopping you: don't float about up there -- dive in! "Never have such wonderful outfits accompanied such 'must dance' tunes." (Gscene) "A guaranteed good time!" (Curve Magazine) "It's straight from the fridge, daddio!"
