Padua, a quick visit to the City Center and Basilica of Saint Anthony. Train Mestre, Venice. Padova

It's the last day of our holiday. Given our flight is later in the afternoon, we went to spend a few hours in Padua. It's a very short train ride from Venezia Mestre where we are staying. We left our luggage at the hotel's storage and then took the train to Padua. The Ciy Centre is lovely and most of the notable landmarks are within walking distance. Our main goal was to visit the Basilica. There was no queue and it wasn't too busy. It was quite an interesting experience. There were plenty of impressive artworks and the ones from Donatello were particularly mesmerising. We took the train back to Mestre and from there we took the shuttle to the airport.
