#TradLife I'm going to unbox, review, and shoot my new Gold Tip traditional carbon arrows. This is my first set of Gold Tip carbons, so I'm excited to see how well they shoot. - http://CatholicHack.com/ For the past year I have been shooting the Traditional Only carbon arrows from 3 Rivers Archery, they are really fantastic arrows. I especially love the way the look but, they also shoot extremely well too. You can watch my review video of those arrows through this link - • Traditional Archery Review | Traditional O... I shoot carbon arrows because of how durable they are, I tend to be very rough on my arrows, I'm always breaking them and ruining the fletching. So, I need a tough arrow. This year, I wanted to try Gold Tips for the first time. I had seen some review videos from other archers and they cam highly recommended, so I thought I would call up 3 Rivers Archery and place an order. As always, 3 Rivers Archery took great care of me and before you know it, my Gold Tip Traditional carbon arrows were on my door step. I thought I would share with you the unboxing experience and the first shot. Honestly, by the time I'm uploading this video, I have been shooting these arrows from a few months already. I wanted to both get ready for the hunting season, and shoot them several hundred times before I gave you my opinion on these carbon arrows. Gold Tip Carbon Traditional Arrows - http://www.3riversarchery.com/gold-ti... Today, I was in the Sam Houston National Forest, "deer hunting," and thought it would be a great time to share with you my final analysis on these carbon arrows. Essentially, I think they are really great arrows, and shoot very well through my 55# Samick Red Stag. I have these arrows at 32" long, spined at 400 with more than 200 grains on the points. There are two things about these arrows that I do not like though... the size of the fletching, and the nocks they shipped with. Other than that... I like them a lot. Oh... I suppose the third thing would be they are not as "pretty" as the Traditional Only carbon arrows by 3 Rivers Archery. ;-) What are you shooting? I would love to know, comment below.
