Yeah for sure, such a boring mode Cary. game here by CaryKH :https://htwins.net/scrabbletetris I get the point that 3 letter mode feels a lot more chancy since it's much easier to just stumble upon words you didn't mean to, but that's not unlikely in 4 letter mode either. It helps that I've had some scrabble experience so already have a familliarity with the common and useful 3 letter words. 1 thing I do prefer is that you can play a lot more into sort of meta plays instead of just focusing on making a single word at a time. The best example of which is vowel-consonant parity. at higher speeds where I cant focus on actually looking for whole words, I'll just focus on making sure I alternate vowels and consonants in my stack, avoiding "clumps" of either. This usually pays of well, either immediately or further on with combos or extensions. but yeah the fact that score is literally tied to speed is still dumb whatever mode. If score actually had a meaning, longer word bonuses and such, I'd probably prefer 4 letter since that would allow you to form longer words without accidentally making shorter words, but since making longer words provides no score benefit, short word spamming ftw.
