Canon Speedlite 600EX-RT - Flash Exposure Compensation Tutorial

A short photography tutorial showing how to change the Flash Exposure Compensation on the LCD menu on your Canon Speedlite 600EX-RT. The Canon Speedlite 600EX-RT can add or subtract up to three stops of exposure compensation through using its menu system on the flash unit itself. This photography tutorial shows how to change the flash exposure compensation. Changing the flash exposure compensation is useful in conditions such as using bounce flash photography, or fill flash in sunlight where you want to illuminate shadows. It gives your more creative control in your DSLR photography. The tutorial shows how to change the compensation on the LCD menu of the Canon Speedlite 600EX-RT itself. It also provides examples of photos taken at the various settings of the flash exposure compensation, so you can see what difference it makes to your photography. By looking at the photos is is obvious that by changing the flash exposure compensation, it is easy to change the amount of light power produced by the Speedlite flash unit. A tutorial on using the new Canon Speedlite 600EX-RT, Canon's first flash with Radio Triggering released in 2012. The new flagship Canon Speedlite flash features:
- wireless Radio triggering (wireless RT) in addition to optical triggering
 - control up to five groups of flashes.

 Full flash head swivel. This is the Future of Speedliting. 

It was announced on 2 March 2012, at the same time as the Canon EOS 5D Mark III DSLR camera. It replaces the Canon 580EX II as Canon's flagship Speedlite. 

(It is rumoured that there will be a Canon Speedlite 440EX-RT flashgun coming out with Radio Triggering later this year - 2012). It is designed to partner with the ST-E3-RT Speedlite Transmitter, which is fitted onto the hotshot of your Canon DSLR Camera. Radio triggering means that you don't need "line of sight" when using a flash in your photography. A real win for strobist photographers.
