Implementation Science and Maternal Health

In this four-minute video, Meghan Lane-Fall succinctly details how a new national hub of implementation science at the University of Pennsylvania created by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) will support a new NIH network of ten Centers of Excellence focused on improving maternal health. Lane-Fall, MD, MSHP, is the Executive Director of the Penn Implementation Science Center (PISCE) and an Associate Professor of both Anesthesiology and Critical Care, and Epidemiology. The new hub will be called AMETHIST (Achieving Maternal Equity through implementation Science and Training). Lane-Fall co-directs the new NIH hub with Rebecca Hamm, MD, MSCE, an Assistant Professor in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine.
