THE EASTERN GESTURE | Exhibition Dep Art Gallery Milan 2020 Un video che pone l’accento sul dialogo tra le opere esposte in occasione della mostra IL GESTO DELL'ORIENTE Cinque voci dell'Avanguardia coreana e lo spazio della Dep Art Gallery di Milano. La mostra, aperta dal 3 fino al 9 maggio 2020, ha messo in luce la ricerca di cinque artisti coreani: Chun Kwang Young, Park Seobo, Lee Bae, Lee Ufan, Kim Tschang-Yeul. Il video consente di avvicinarsi alla qualità e a ogni dettaglio delle quindici opere, selezionate dal curatore Gianluca Ranzi, per far emergere la complessa dinamica tra rinnovamento e tradizione che ha lambito quel paese in un quarantennio di profondi turbamenti e agitazioni politiche e sociali. ______________________________________________________________________________________ A video that traces the dialogue between the artworks of the exhibition THE EASTERN GESTURE Five voices of the Korean Avantguarde and the exhibition space of Dep Art Gallery in Milan. The exhibition, on view from 3 to 9 May 2020, highlighted the research of five Korean artists: Chun Kwang Young, Park Seobo, Lee Bae, Lee Ufan, Kim Tschang-Yeul. The video allows to replicate the quality and even small details of the fifteen works, selected by the curator Gianluca Ranzi, to bring out the complex dialectics between renewal and tradition that has involved the country in forty years of political and social agitations.
