...it's not over. According to one of Helix Chamber's articles, early on in Pokemon Red and Green's development Silph originally hosted the Pokemon League which would have culminated into a final dungeon where you would have fought every single trainer class throughout the whole game, including Gym Leaders, and would eventually end at Mewtwo. With that knowledge, their interpretation in this hack of what could have been the final dungeon actually is pretty good with a decent challenge...even if it's a bit glitchy. You can see some in the video and I'm pretty sure there's more that I thankfully didn't encounter. They also forgot to make Erika battleable in this interpretation.
