This video covers the overhaul of the JATCO CVT transmission used in many Nissan, Suzuki, Mitsubishi, Jeep, and Dodge vehicles. If you are working on a 2007 to current FWD Nissan, you likely have a CVT. This video covers the JF011E, which is also called the RE0F10A/B or the CVT 2 or 3. I know, confusing isn't it. Well, at least rebuilding the transmission won't be as confusing after watching this video. This video would also apply to a JF009e (RE0F08a/b) and A JF010e (RE0F09a/b,) because they basically operate the same and use the same process for rebuilding. In this video, I cover disassembly, inspection, and reassembly of the transmission along with measurements and some description along the way. You'll find in this video, I also vacuum check the valve body to see if there are any worn bores. I go through the process of rebuilding the pulley assembly to give you an idea of what to expect.
